AA HPB sailboat

AA HPB is the first certified GP42 in Croatia designed for and competing in the new ORC box-rule class. The rules and specifications for the ORC GP42 Classes provide close racing without time allowance in grand prix competition. The yachts designed to this rule are fast, sound and seaworthy.

AA HPB was designed by the internationally acclaimed naval architect team BotinCarkeek and was built by Murtic Yachts in Croatia. Skippered by Darko Prizmic it had a successful first season of racing with a number of podium places. The new class certainly provides exciting racing and a high level of competition.

The ORC GP42's main characteristics call for light displacement, simple fractional rig boat with non-overlapping jibs, no running backstays and significant sail area. The result is great performances and relatively affordable costs. Regularly reaching planing speeds in excess of 20 knots and with a high sail area / displacement ratio meaning the boat is fully powered from 8 knots true, this is a thrilling boat to sail.

Korčula Swimming Club

With the generous assistance of residents and club members, as well as several larger donations, including ours, in 2004, the Korčula Swimming Club remodelled its pool, originally built in the 1930s.

Over the decades, KPK has produced a series of water polo giants, European Water Polo Champions and European swimming record holders. The town of Korčula proudly nurtures water polo and the swimming tradition to this day. This donation was intended to help young Korčulans to achieve the best sporting results possible. Adria-Azija also provides annual sponsorship to the swimming club to help with running costs.
