Michael Unsworth

Michael Unsworth, member of the Board, is a retired investment banker with 28 years experience in the field of investment banking and stockbroking in London, Hong Kong and Thailand.

From 1998 to 2000, he worked as Chief Executive of Meryll Lynch-Phatra Securities in Thailand, as well as successfully leading a team of investment analysts during the Asian financial crisis in the late 1990s.

He participated in the privatisation of Croatian companies by providing advisory services and was a member of the Supervisory Board of Pliva d.d. between May 2003 and October 2006. He has close family ties with Croatia where he lives for around half of the year.

Mladen Lozica

Mladen Lozica is member of the Management Board responsible for marketing and sales. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Zagreb and gained his exceptional knowledge of marketing and sales during many years of work experience and attendance of professional seminars.

Since 1986, he has been employed at the Institute of Naval Engineering in Zagreb where he mainly works as a chief project engineer.

From 1981 to 1986, he led research and development projects at the Rade Končar Electrotechnical Institute. He is author of numerous professional papers.

Maša Unsworth

Professor Maša Unsworth was born in Zagreb and is a Croatian citizen. After studying Indology and French at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb, she worked as a French language teacher.

She has lived in London, Hong Kong and Bangkok, but has maintained close ties with her homeland during all her time spent outside Croatia.

Over the years, she has refined her skills in the field of art and design, which are richly enhanced by her knowledge of Asian languages, arts and culture.

She is responsible for the exterior and interior design of all Adria-Azija investment projects.

Dragan Jadrijev

Dragan Jadrijev is the Managing Director and has many years of experience in construction, property investment, and real estate management.

He graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb. He began his career with the leading Croatian construction company Geotehnika, where between 1986 and 1995, he was promoted first to the position of Finance Director and later Managing Director.

From 1996 to 2001, he was Managing Director of Importanne d.o.o., developer of the first two modern mixed use property developments in Zagreb, following which he went to Podravka d.d. where he worked as Investment Director until 2004.

Tania Unsworth

Tania has been working for Adria-Azija Tourizam since November 2006. She is responsible for Marketing and Business Development.

After graduating in 2001 with a 2:1 degree in International Management from Newcastle University and L'Ecole Superieur de Commerce, Montpellier, she joined Mark Allen Group where she worked until 2005, firstly as PR and events manager, and then Head of their International events division.

She was also a member of the company's management board. In 2005 she took a year's sabatical to participate in the Clipper Round the World Yacht race, where she was watch leader for the Qingdao entry.

Ivana Unković

Ivana Unković has been working for Adria Azija for five years. After four years working for Buculin, an accountancy company in Korčula, she joined Adria Azija as office manager in 2002.

Alongside her work at Adria Azija, she studied business English at the Lancon Language School in Zagreb as well as Informatics at the IT Center in Zagreb.

She completed a degree at the Business Academy Experta and has now enrolled in the Vern University where she is currently studying Economics. Ivana manages in-house PR and works on marketing and sales campaigns across all company projects.
